Hello Everyone,
This year is proving to be a challenge in time and dedication for
the organizing of this year’s golf and friends tournament. I will not be able
to give this year’s event the attention it deserves and am proposing to postpone this year’s event until 2017.
However, in the interim I am hoping there are those out there
interested in participating in an organizing committee of 4 – 5 people to
oversee the following;
> Organizing a search for a new host Hotel and Banquet facility (
Embassy has closed down their banquet operations )
> Organizing the Banquet event
> Organizing the Meet and Greet and After Golf Awards Party
> Organizing sponsorships, signage etc…
> Organizing and selecting a suitable golf venue with
consideration of 2 flights ( fun mixed / competitive )
I am also suggesting that we look at sending out a survey ( survey
monkey ) to all 2015 attendees that we have contact info for and ask everyone
what they would envision in the future.
